RED WINE Clos Vougeot 2017
This excellent Clos de Vougeot is a blend of fruit from the climats of Petit Maupertuis and Hautes Baudes. The former contributes complexity and freshness, owing to its limestone soil. Hautes Baudes has deeper soils and is situated on a slight rise towards the middle of the clos; this new addition to the blend contributes a little more body. Fermented entirely with whole bunches, the wine has pure strawberry fruit, charming floral notes and a cleansing, chalky finish
