WHISKY Royal Lochnagar 12yo Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml
This 12 year old was distillery at the Lochnagar distillery, once visited by Queen Victoria when she was staying at nearby Balmoral.
Colour & Appearance:Pale amber
Aroma & Taste:Aroma of planed wood, light toffee, boat varnish. Linseed oil behind, even putty, and later a lychee-like acidity. With water the acidity comes through (acid drops), and the nose sweetens. Medium-bodied. The palate is pleasant with an initial sweetness, which is quickly overtaken by acidity. Dry; medium-length, with an attractive lingering sandalwood aftertaste.
